I don’t see how telling people to drink more water is dangerous bullshit. Meanwhile the third leading cause of death in America is iatrogenic causes (aka adverse reaction to medicine or procedures, sometimes because of medical mistakes). The fact that you as a doctor have such a problem with someone educating people on proper hydration (something I doubt you ever did as a physician) clearly proves my point.

Just because people have access to water doesn’t mean they drink enough of it. Many people prefer coffee, soda, alcohol, and other drinks to plain water. I’ve met many people who never drink plain water because they don’t like it. Your point is much like saying people can’t be malnourished because they have access to all the healthy food they need. People will still eat fast food even though there are healthy options available.

My articles is based on decades of research from a well respected doctor who helped many people by educating them about proper hydration.

Yes people get hooked up to a saline drip when they are in the hospital, but what about when they are out of the hospital? Most people do not take the initiative to properly hydrate, which causes long term problems if this is not remedied.

I find it shocking that a retired doctor has such a problem with such basic health advice. I’m not telling anyone to get off their meds or stop going to their doctor. I’m educating people about something our medical establishment does not.
