If you’re like me, you have WAY too many hobbies. Your brain is interested in all sorts of things and you can’t learn enough fast enough! Even in the ONE niche of writing, you may have a million topics you want to explore. A few of my hobbies are:

  • Reading and Writing
  • Hiking, Camping, and Climbing
  • Exercising/Bodybuilding
  • Health, Nutrition, and Cooking
  • Sewing and Crafting
  • Alternative Medicine
  • Music, Art, and Photography
  • Gardening and Learning About Nature
  • Environmental Science

The list goes on…

Some days I start out with great intentions to focus solely on one thing, but by the end of the day I have 20 tabs open and I’m clicking in between them like an addict who just can’t get enough.

I’ve heard that brilliant people can also be crazy, and maybe having a multi-faceted brain is part of that insanity.

So how do we compartmentalize our interests so they don’t fight for attention in our minds?
