As a woman, I know making ourselves look desirable can be very affordable (if costing nothing extra at all). Some of my best looking dresses are from thrift stores or Wal Mart, and I do my own nails, hair, and makeup. We all know there are expensive and inexpensive clothes and makeup, and which you choose can show a lot of financial savvy (or lack therof).

I think having date nights at home where two people cook dinner together is way more romantic than going out to eat. My boyfriend and I have had a lot more fun together since we agreed to have date nights at home. If it's a first date, I could see wanting to go out somewhere, but I think it's honorable for the woman to at least offer to pay half.
